Book your next holiday in advance and enjoy such benefits as: availability of pitches, ease of payment (3x free of charge), booking activities online … Because getting ahead is the guarantee of a successful stay , La Bastiane proposes you to take out an insurance guarantee in case of cancellation and interruption stay. So, play it safe and rest assured !

Guarantees & Procedure

The costs linked to a cancellation stay may be covered by an insurance proposed by YellohVillage, at a cost of 4% of the amount of the stay (for rental accommodation and pitch). This guarantee must be taken out at the time of booking and the corresponding amount must be paid with the 25% deposit requested.

The cancellation guarantee allows you to be refunded for the sums paid (franchise deducted) for many situations such as illness including Covid-19, redundancy, cancellation or modification of holidays, etc…Find below a non-exhaustive list of guarantees offered by the insurer:

• serious illness, serious accident or death affecting a member of your family,
• coronavirus as a patient, serious illness or cause of death (cf. extension)
• complications of pregnancy before the 7th month,
• significant material damage affecting your own property and imperatively requiring your presence,
• redundancy,
• accident or total theft of your vehicle and / or your caravan occurring on the direct route to the place of stay,
• cancellation or modification of vacation dates by the employer

General Principle of Insurance

A problem? An unforeseen event? Our partner ‘Campez Couvert – Gritchen Affinity’ undertakes to refund you for all sums paid and kept by the campsite, after deducting the insurance fee (see table of cover amounts) when you are required to cancel your trip before departure for reasons beyond your control, to the exclusion of any mass risk of our policies (border closure, state of health emergency, general confinement, etc.) To find out about all the guarantees and exclusions, consult the CGA.

Your obligations in the event of a claim

You must notify the campsite of your withdrawal upon the occurrence of an event preventing your departure by postmail or email. You must also report your claim to ‘Gritchen – Campez Couvert’ and accompany your declaration with:

• In the event of illness or accident, a medical certificate specifying the origin, nature, severity and foreseeable consequences of the illness or accident,

You must provide us with the documents and medical information necessary for the processing of your file on behalf of the medical adviser who we will send you upon receipt of the claim, as well as the medical questionnaire to be completed by your doctor. If you do not have these documents or information, you must have them communicated to you by your attending physician and send them back to us.

• In the event of death, a certificate and the civil status record,
• In other cases, any supporting documents.
