What are the strengths of La Bastiane? Why is a friendly and family campsite?

If you are looking for family holidays, activities for all and easy contact, our establishment welcomes between 600 and 800 people in high season, which allows us to always be attentive to our customers (reception open 7 days a week). / 7 all season).

Where exactly is the campsite located?

Our geographic situation corresponds perfectly to the spirit of our establishment: set back from the coastal tumult, in a preserved natural environment, having only neighbors as pine forest and vineyards, the cicadas are the only ones to sing!

Motorway A8 Exit 37  – Puget sur Argens. At the 1st roundabout, turn right towards Le Muy on RN7.
At about 300 meters turn right, on a counter alley along the national road. Go up to the crossroads, turn left Chemin de Suvières. Follow this path until N ° 1056 turn right, the entrance to the campsite is 100 meters below.

Is the campsite quiet, despite the proximity of the highway?

When you look at the road map or on internet, you can see that the A8 motorway is quite close. However, even located 800m from the latter, a natural barrier protects us from these noise nuisances. The RN7 is even further away since it is located about 1km.

What kind of activities are offered to children and teens?

Our team of animators is 100% committed to offering you, throughout your stay, an animation program adapted to the ages of each. For children from 5 to 12 years old, the Kid’s Club offers various fun and manual activities every day except Saturday. Each activity lasts on average 1h30: water games, sports initiations, pony, picnic, treasure hunt …
Teens can participate in sports activities such as mini football on grass, volleyball, archewhirlpoolry, tennis and table tennis, mountain biking and outings … Outdoor outings are also supervised by a facilitator in summer: tree climbing, wakepark, watergames , canoe …

What are the campsite infrastructures?

Several play areas are available to kids from 2 to 14 years old (under the responsibility of the parents):

  • for 3/8 year olds: plastic and wooden awakening games placed on the ground on a lawn covering (slides, rocking seats, animals on springs, playhouses)
  • for 8/14 year olds: metal structure and climbing tree to combine the fun and sporty side of outdoor activities

A sanitary facility equipped for babies ensures comfort and privacy for babies and mothers: changing table, bathtub, washbasins adapted to the height of children. And to simplify your holidays, we offer rental of the baby kit including 1 travel cot + 1 high chair + 1 bathtub.

And for older children, electronic games, billiards and table football are located in the bar room. We also have 2 half courts (half tennis court), ping pong tables, multisports grass field, boules court and outdoor fitness park.

The aquatic area is composed of a large pool, a paddling pool with water games and whirlpool. Sun loungers are available to customers, as is access to the solarium.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are welcome, in compliance with health and safety regulations (use of paper bags provided for this purpose highly recommended). And for the comfort of our animal friends, a dog-friendly walking area is located at the entrance of the campsite. They must in no case be tied or enclosed alone on the installations and in the rentals. Their master, civilly responsible, must in all cases be able to master the situation.

Please note, only 2 animals are allowed per pitch, with a supplement of € 6 per day.

Keeping on a leash is compulsory as well as the vaccination card in accordance with the regulations in force:

The types of dogs likely to be dangerous are divided into 2 categories:

  • 1st category: attack dogs (fall in the 1st category dogs not registered in a herd book recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and assimilable by their morphological characteristics to dogs of breeds: Staffordshire terrier and American Staffordshire terrier (these two types of dogs are commonly called “pit bulls”) Mastiff, commonly known as “bull bulls”)
  • 2nd category: guard and defense dogs (fall under the 2nd category the following dogs, registered in the herd book recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture dogs of breed Staffordshire terrier American Staffordshire terrier (Attention: the 2nd category does not include not the Staffordshire Bull Terriers, smaller breed and proven harmless) Rottweiler.

Is it possible to use a barbecue inside the camp?

For obvious reasons of prevention linked to the risk of fire, any type of barbecue is prohibited in the Var department (charcoal, wood). However, the electric barbecue is authorized and under certain conditions of use, the gas barbecue is tolerated.

This regulation is due to several risks:

  • burns, smoke inhalation
  • firing of the installation
  • bad smells

The nature of our land, grassy and wooded, as well as the weather conditions (winds: mistral / tramontane) increase the risk factors. In order to secure the entire electrical device, certain devices exceeding a certain power cannot be used. They can, in certain cases, cause malfunctions of the electrical network, see more. This is why we rent barbecues that comply with the electrical standards of our establishment.

What do you call “camping club atmosphere”?

For more than 50 years, La Bastiane has offered multiple activities throughout the summer, partly due to:

  • our withdrawal from the Fréjusien coastline
  • growing demand from our customers
  • because a village needs some excitement
  • supervise and entertain our young people within the camp

Based on these findings, an entertainment program is set up each summer by our animators, a program that does not have to envy those of the major vacation centers.

“Ambiance Club” is a whole concept, varied and suitable for all ages. All the activities offered are of course free: aquagym, sports tournament, dance evening, cabaret, Live Music concert, bowling pitch, multisports ground, zumba, fitness, jogging, muscular awakening, inter-neighborhood Olympiads …

The Club atmosphere consists of offering entertainment and fun activities throughout the day to as wide an audience as possible, trying to bring warmth, conviviality and humor.

Isn’t it too noisy for people looking for calm?

Throughout the summer season, from the end of June to the beginning of September, we offer various more or less intense activities depending on the number of visitors to our campsite. The more people there are, the more tumult and excitement there is. This is completely normal and inevitable when the campsite is full, with around 800 people on the camp! Outside this period, the campsite regains all its serenity so that relaxation rhymes with holidays. Each year we do our best to balance leisure and calm. It’s not always easy, but it’s our workhorse. As proof, the automatic closing of the barriers giving access to motorized vehicles from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. the next morning. For your comfort, no traffic is authorized at night inside the campsite. Evening entertainment is always scheduled so that the noise level is reduced as much as possible so that holidaymakers who do not wish to attend are as little as possible inconvenienced. All this allows us to provide you with a climate of relaxation and entertainment at will.

How far are the nearest shops and beaches ?

The campsite is ideally located 5 Kms from the center of Fréjus and close to all amenities, the village of Puget being just 1200 meters away.

On site we have a small grocery store offering basic necessities such as:

  • dairy products, canning
  • seasonal fruits and vegetables
  • drinks (soft drinks, wines and beers)
  • grocery store, cookie store
  • local press, magazine

We also offer fresh bread & pastries every morning from 8 a.m.

Our proximity to various supermarkets will facilitate your supplies: 3Kms from the campsite, you will find a shopping center and supermarket. In the village, medical, dental, pharmacy, post office, bank, newsagent, tourist office, it’s all there!

As for access to the beaches, the closest is that of Fréjus, 7 km from the campsite. It is a long and beautiful stretch of fine sand bordering the bay of Fréjus and Saint Raphaël. It takes about 20 minutes depending on traffic in summer to get to the seaside

St Aygulf beach is particularly popular with tourists because it is wide and the water is shallow, an ideal beach for children. It takes about 45 minutes to travel the 9Kms that separate us. Other beautiful beaches and small coves are located at the exit of St Raphaël towards Cannes about fifteen kilometers: Landing beach at Dramont or the famous coves of red rocks around Anthéor, very popular with divers. Can we eat on-site?

To serve you, La Bastiane offers you its lounge bar, its southern cuisine, its pizzeria, its snack bar and its terrace by the swimming pool. Welcome to La Taverne de Corto! Daily specials, Chef’s suggestion, themed menu; You will never stop tasting Provencal cuisine: bourride, stew, anchoïade, aioli. Pizza, sandwiches, fries and roasted chickens will also be on sale on site or to take away. The Bar will be at your service for the morning coffee, for the soda in the afternoon, for the anisette as an aperitif and more if you like.

What services are provided there?

To make your stay with us as pleasant as possible, we offer various services.

You have the possibility of renting household linen:

  • cotton sheets kit: 18 € / bed (fitted sheet, flat sheet and pillowcase)
  • towel kit: 12 € / person (bath towel and small hand towel)

Baby kits are also available (reservation recommended). It includes 1 travel cot + 1 high chair + 1 bathtub and is charged € 6 per day.

To make your departure easier, you can request a “Final Cleaning” package made by us. It includes cleaning floors, windows. You are responsible for basic household tasks such as cleaning dishes, fridge and taking out the trash. This service is charged € 95 for an hour of estimated cleaning (increase possible if the state of the rental requires it).

Also available by reservation:

  • electric barbecue 6 € / day
  • table top fridge for campers 5 €/ day

The sanitary blocks are equipped with washing machines, dryers and ironing boards. Tokens are on sale at reception (5 € for washing and 2.50 € for drying), as well as powder doses (0.50 € per dose). We are happy to lend you irons.

Various sports accessories are also on loan, such as balls, pétanque balls, tennis rackets, ping pong or badminton.
