Lérins islands

Off Cannes and the Estérel, discover natural and cultural heritage of Lérins islands. Saint Marguerite island

The most visited, the biggest island of the archipelago. Dominated by the Fort Royal, where the Man with the Iron Mask has been held, is now the Sea museum. Sainte Marguerite island is covered by a pine forest of Aleppo and Eucalyptus. Perfect for a walk and offers amazing beaches to do snorkelling to discover the underwater.

Smaller, this island has an historical heritage. Cistercian monks live in the Abbey and cultivate the vines. Find the fortified Monastery, the old agave and visit the four chapels.

Golden islands

Golden islands or Hyères islands, are all different. The furthest, Levant island, has garrigue and rocky coves. This one is not part of Port-Cros Natural park but is a naturism place. Port-Cros island is the wildest and the most preserved one. Discover it by foot, it’s also a paradise for divers.

Finaly, Porquerolles island is the most accessible but amazing. Few minutes away by boat from La Tour Fondue, Notre Dame beach is one of the most beautiful beach in Europe.
